I wore these shoes sea kayaking in Tasmania Australia (February 2023) and I loved them! They kept out all the small rocks on the beach and they were pretty grippy on slippery surfaces. They dried relatively quickly despite Tassies cooler temperatures. Alas they were not March Fly resistant (nasty biting flies of Tasmania) and I got some nasty bug bites through the neoprene. I usually wear a size 8 but having read other reviews I sized up to a size 9.

I have had foot surgery so my shoes have become very important to me..I use these for kayaking and also I take a aerobic swim class and they really help with the pounding.. So Thanks

The boots were made well and good quality. I did not give them 5 stars due to sizing. I am and 8.5 and ordered up as that is what was recommended (they don’t come in half sizes). They were huge! Returning was easy and completed quickly.

I wear a size 9 tennis shoe, so ordered size 9. They run a little small, my toes were very near the end. But size 10 might have felt like Donald Duck shoes because of the length and wide toe bed, so I took a chance with size 9 on my recent Alaska kayak trip. They worked out fine. They slip on easily, have a great sole that made walking on rocky shores quite easy, and I like the spacious feel of the wide toe bed. (If you are a fashionista you might not like the look!) With a pair of neoprene socks, my feet were warm even when wet. I'll be using them for a long time to come.

Great water shoe. Good sole, not worried about walking in the ocean and getting cut on rocks or shells.

The sizing is correct and they are easy to put on. A good weight for warm weather paddling. The sole is not very thick, so not ideal for walking rocky beaches. My heels got a little sore while kayaking due to lack of padding on the back of the heel. I prefer the sole to wrap around the heel.

These are the BEST! I’ve had 3 pairs of NRS Kicker wet shoes, but these are the first Women’s specific shoes that I’ve had! The wider toe box is perfect for my feet, so I love the fit. Even better is the little pull tab on the instep of the shoes. The instep pull tab makes getting the shoes on over my high instep MUCH easier. Many reviews say that the instep strap is too short, and I have to agree. Please add 1/2 inch to the strap to make it perfect. My other two pairs of NRS were boys/mens, and they were fine, but these women’s specific shoes are excellent.
