Try Before Your Buy - Book A Private Paddling Demo
A new kayak, surfski or SUP is a big purchase, so you want to be sure you are making the right choice. If you need some extra help selecting the right boat or board, we have the option of an on-water demo before you buy. Please come visit us in store, or give us a call, before booking your demo so our experienced team can assess your needs and help you pick what will work the best for you.
Pending staff and equipment availability we can schedule a 30 minute demo in Deep Cove. Coast Outdoors will provide transportation of the equipment to Deep Cove and will be on hand to ask any questions you may have.
Private demos cost $150, which will be credited towards your purchase of a new boat or board within 30 days. Demos must be paid ahead of time and the fee will not be refunded in the event of a no-show.
Note: If you are looking for something specific, please let us know so we can check availability.
These events must be scheduled in advance. We will provide personal flotation devices (PFDs) and paddles, but participants are expected to know how to remount. The purpose of these events is to address any questions or doubts regarding different types of boats.
