Product description

Make boat transport and portaging a breeze with the NRS Yak Yak Boat Cart. With sand-conquering tires, element-resistant materials and lighter weight than most other boat carts, this little powerhouse saves your back.

  • Rubber wraps around the heavy-duty plastic wheel for a smooth ride on hard surfaces.

  • 3" wide rim on the 9" diameter wheel gives good support in soft surfaces.

  • Bearing-less, smooth-rolling wheels are easily removed, allowing the compact Yak Yak to slip into most kayak hatches.

  • Lightweight, anodized aluminum frame carries up to a 150 pound load.

  • The Idaho tread pattern gives good grip and leaves a distinctive trail behind the cart.

  • Corrosion-resistant hardware for dependable durability.

  • Kickstand holds the cart steady while you're loading, then flips up out of the way when you're moving.

  • Cushioning foam pads protect the hull of your boat.

  • The two 6' NRS Loop Straps, with Buckle Bumper, are super easy to use and securely anchor your boat to the cart.

I really like this cart, but it keeps slipping off the boat unless I have the seat back between the staps. Also after the first week I had it, one of the bumpers split. Its still attached but each time I look at it the split is longer.

Worth the money. Great piece of equipment, lightweight and very durable. Really a big help with transporting my kayak.

I bought this cart because my kayak buddies had made carts that fit into their stern hatches and I did not have the tools to build one. On Puget Sound, it is a good idea to carry a cart with you in case you need to revise your paddle plans mid-trip and take a ferry home! The first cart which arrived was missing the pins; the second one arrived this week. NRS was quite responsive in sending me another cart, many thanks. It fits easily into my 16' Hurricane, and I can load the boat onto the cart either amid-ships or at an end. I think this will be a great addition to my kayaking gear!
