What’s a kayak without a paddle? Don’t lose yours. Tether your paddle to your wrist or deck rigging with the NRS Coil Paddle Leash, and save yourself a swim and maybe some money.

  • Expands from a compacted 18-inches to a full five-foot stretch.
  • Attachment end secures to your wrist or your boat giving you multiple safety options.
  • Snap swivel lets you easily disconnect the leash when necessary and prevents twisting so you don’t have to stop and unravel your leash.
  • Zippered bag with carabiner for compact storage on or off the water.

Note: this product is not intended for use in whitewater applications due to possible entanglement in swift water.

great way to insure you're never seperated from your paddle. well thought out product, easy to use, works well, comes in it's own zippered pouch with attached clip.

Being a fan of the clean deck thought i'd try this as an option to the second paddle. I'm not saying there isn't a time for the backup paddle, but... I found I liked this thing quite a lot. Was worried it would be annoying and in the way but I quickly forgot it was there. The coil gives it good length without being all over the place. I've taken dumps in NC breakers and a cranky Lake Erie and I'm not saying don't hang onto your paddle (!) but it was reassuring. When I cowboyed back in it was easier and faster having my hands free. Pumping, helping others, taking pics same thing. So so far I find it a nice option

I actually purchase both leashes, one for me and one for my partner. The quality of the fabrication of each is excellent and as you would expect, except for the leash portion the parts are identical. The coil leash as you would expect is roughly 18 inches shorter. While I like both, the coil leash is the least in my way so to speak. The real surprise was when I stretched both with my arms straight out, the coil leash stretches out with much less effort than the bungee leash. The storage pouch offers two means of attachment and appears to be well made.

We had joy, we had fun for years. Durable. Though I always rinsed it, I didn't remove it from the yak, except at the end of the season, so that probably prolonged my velcro from wearing out therefore the failure point for me was actually the red coating which I suspect some animal had knawed on. The string inside is well braided, see photo. I place the velcro end on the paddle and the clip around my angler chair. It held up great for 5 years through swamps, mud and freshwater.

This item far exceeded my expectations. The quality and design are exceptional. A nifty belt pouch is also included. No regrets.
