Overall it fits well, feels nice and light to wear and protects from wind and moderate cold. Wish it had other color options and had some reflective points for visibility.

Great feel and comfort. It does feel slim fitting. Multi use or every day

Perfect active jacket. Just enough integrity to help retain some heat while bleeding excess and really working as a wind block. Fit is really solid.

Picked this up specifically for cold weather runs. Typically wear only a baselayer under this for ~0 C conditions. On a -10 C day wore another layer and it still fit great. Plenty warm. Used on some really windy days and was a great wind barrier. No complaints!

I bought this to layer under my shell for skiing, but the other day it was freezing rain when I was heading out to the car, so I grabbed this and threw it on over a nano air jacket, and it was perfect outer layer, shedding most rain. Looking forward to using in many different environments.

I was looking at something impractical, and the sales associate who I was questioning about my original thought for purchase gently said to me that she didn’t think it would serve me in the way that I thought. And she asked me gently do you mind if I make an alternate suggestion? She recommended this product and I was skeptical, but I’ve never been led wrong by the staff in store so I bought it top and bottom. And I couldn’t be happier with how they performed and the amount of warmth and comfort and flexibility that they offer. So it was a great experience all the way around. Cheers

Bought this jacket, as I needed a new light casual wear jacket for work. Absolutely fell in love with it, so I ordered another one in the other color available. Please make more of these in more colors! A black and/or grey one would be amazing

Mostly use this for running and have gotten some use for hiking and casual wear, and it does exactly as described. Blocks gusts of wind while having the appropriate amount of venting. There's always a place for super lightweight, durable windbreakers like the Houdini but my Wind Shield Jacket is a much better fit for running. Pros: 1. Elastic cuffs make for a pretty good wind seal. 2. Softshell is very stretchy with no chafing or tugging at the elbows and underarms. 3. The amount of venting is appropriate. I've been warm but not hot the past few evenings at 32 degrees F. 4. Internal drop-in pockets are nice for times I need to stow the beanie. 5. No more loud, annoying, swishing noises from arm swings. 6. LOVE not having a hood that flaps in the wind. 7. Droptail has the right length. 8. There's no waist drawcord but it's a bit slim fitting and I've had no issues with gusts getting under the front or sides of the jacket. Cons: 1. Lack of color options (wish there was black or charcoal). 2. Wish there were a bit more reflective elements on the back. 3. The product description mentions "one low-back zippered pocket" but there is none. There are two front zippered pockets and two internal drop-in pockets only. Which is great...I don't want or need an awkward pocket and zipper on the lower back anyway. The drop-in pockets are more than enough.

Wore this on a ~2hr trail run with constant moderate snowfall, temp 30-32F. Just a Capilene Cool Merino tshirt underneath. Very impressed with the snow protection as it shed off and did not saturate the fabric much at all—I think my Houdini Air and Airshed would’ve both wet through. I felt the balance of protection, warmth, and breathability was spot on, I generally run warm but I never felt overheated, especially as the open hand pockets provided good ventilation. With a vest/pack on, I think an argument could be made for another lightweight breathable panel running along the middle of the back, but I think running without a vest, the vent would be sufficient in cold and windy weather. One could also make an argument for a lightweight hood (same material as underarm panels?) just to increase its utility, but the simplicity is nice- as is it looks good wearing to work. I will second that the fit is slightly odd with a shorter torso and tight collar. But I look forward to more use next winter for high aerobic activities, along with the wind shield pant!
